Marketing Campaign for Health & Wellbeing Fair

Behind the Scenes: Marketing the Warminster Health & Wellbeing Fair

The 16th of May 2026 marked a truly fantastic day for the Warminster community with the highly anticipated Health & Wellbeing Fair in the Civic Centre in Warminster.

For me, the day was the culmination of months of exciting, creative, and deeply rewarding work. I had the absolute privilege of managing the marketing campaign for this brilliant event, and looking back, I couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved.

Here is a little behind-the-scenes look at how I brought the visual identity and digital campaign to life.

Creating a Buzz on Social Media

A successful local event relies on genuine community awareness, which is why a robust social media strategy was at the heart of this campaign. In the lead-up to the fair, I planned, created, and published over 40 posts and stories across Facebook and Instagram on behalf of the organisers, Health & Wellbeing Warminster.

The goal was to build a steady drumbeat of excitement, highlighting the incredible exhibiting organisations, activities, and resources that would be available on the day. It was incredibly fulfilling to watch the engagement grow as the local community started sharing, commenting, and interacting with the content. Social media is all about connection, and seeing that digital buzz translate into real-world footfall was a fantastic reward.

Designing the Visual Identity

A marketing campaign is only as strong as its visuals, and I was thrilled to take on the responsibility of designing all the promotional materials. I wanted the branding to look cohesive, professional, and—most importantly—inviting.

From eye-catching printed posters placed in shop windows around Warminster to the bespoke digital graphics optimised for our social feeds, every piece of collateral was carefully crafted. The aim was to reflect the welcoming, supportive, and vibrant nature of the fair itself.

Refreshing a Local Icon: The Health & Wellbeing Guide

Perhaps my favourite part of the entire project was being entrusted with updating and refreshing the ‘famous’ Warminster Health and Wellbeing Guide.

This guide has grown to be a useful resource for the community, so giving it a fresh, modern redesign was an absolute honour. Bringing this iconic booklet up to date was a wonderful creative challenge.

A Day to Remember

Seeing the crowds turn up and enjoy themselves on the 16th of May made all the planning, designing, and scheduling completely worthwhile. It is always a joy to use marketing to bring people together for a positive cause, and this event was a perfect example of community spirit in action.

If you missed the fair, or if you simply want to explore the fantastic resources and groups available in our local area, I highly recommend checking out the directory.

A huge thank you to everyone who liked, shared, and attended—I can’t wait to see what the future holds for health and wellbeing in Warminster!

"Nicolette played a key part in delivering a bigger and even better Health Fair this year. Her social media skills and her innate and impressive sense of when and how to market the event contributed to a higher public attendance than ever with 37% surveyed saying they learned about it on social media. On the day, she sent live feeds that attracted further interest. She redesigned our now famous HWB booklet responding agilely to changes in content and style – and, within days, over 450 of these valuable sources of information have already been distributed. Nicolette has a comprehensive grasp of all aspects of communications and marketing, really taking time to understand our goals and aspirations. She is a pleasure to work with and always exceeds our expectations."
