Pitch Perfect & Fully Accessible: Branding a Soprano
The Brief
Elizabeth approached me to create her a new brand identity, including a bespoke logo and a brand new website.
Because Elizabeth is a visually impaired soprano singer, teacher and choir conductor, it was absolutely vital that her new digital home was fully accessible and built with screen-reader compatibility at its core.
The Approach
I worked closely with Elizabeth to design a cohesive brand and logo that captured her vision and musical talent.
Moving onto the website, I focused on high contrast, clear navigation, and an intuitive layout. Behind the scenes, I structured the underlying code to ensure it would interact flawlessly with assistive technologies.
The Result
The final deliverable is a modern, responsive, and inclusive website alongside a beautifully crafted brand. The biggest win came when Elizabeth shared the site with a blind friend—he loved it, confirming it worked perfectly with VoiceOver on his phone and JAWS screen reading software.
A proud reminder that stunning design and full accessibility can seamlessly go hand-in-hand!
